Greenvale AP is one of the UK’s largest growers and packers of fresh potatoes, supplying some of the country’s largest retailers and processors and is the largest subsidiary of the Produce Investments Group. Our Central Support based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire is looking for a Part-Time Administrator to support the Payroll and Benefits team with administrative tasks. These tasks vary from one-off to high volume and regular, sometimes with the pressure of tight deadlines.

  • Reporting to: Payroll and Benefits Manager
  • Salary: To be discussed
  • Hours of work: Part-Time, Monday-Friday, 16-20hrs per week
Main Responsibilities:
  • Creating salaried new starter offer packs and conducting reference checks
  • Updating the payroll data base with new starters, contractual and personal detail changes
  • Dealing with time and attendance queries
  • Running monthly reports, including headcount, turnover and absence
  • Assisting with transferring HR files into a digital system and maintaining thereafter
  • Dealing with general queries
  • Administrating the loyal service award scheme
  • Conducting driving licence checks
Key Attributes:
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working in a busy administration role
  • Previous HR or Payroll experience would be beneficial
  • Possess a professional approach to work, always maintaining confidentiality
  • Able to prioritise and work with a variety of activities along with a high level of attention to detail
  • Good level of experience with all Microsoft packages, including Outlook, Excel, Work and Teams
