Intake Team Leader

We are looking to recruit an Intake Team Leader reporting to the Intake Manager, be responsible for the effective and efficient grading of product, loading and unloading of vehicles and accountability of weekly store validations.

  • Hours of work: 06.00am-18.00pm 4 on 4 off
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • • Allocates workload to staff giving clear instructions and providing all necessary paperwork needed, implementing GMP to ensure quick turnaround times at the beginning and end of each shift
  • • Oversees the correct set up of graders ensuring screens and running speeds are adjusted as needed, carrying out process confirmation audits as required
  • • Conducts relevant checks prior to, during and post grading ensuring correct temperatures, size and quality are within specification, reporting any issues
  • • Monitors both graders and reports any breakdowns to Intake Manager and Engineering department in a timely manner
  • • Provides a clear concise handover to the Nightshift Team Leader
  • • Ownership of weekly store validations as per plan ensuring correct reconciliation using Navision 13 systems
  • • Performs return to work and incident investigations where necessary

Have experience of working in a similar role in a manufacturing environment

Be able to pay close attention to detail and adhere to company procedures

Be a team player, decision maker, able to prioritise and work under pressure

Have excellent communication and organisational skills

Be flexible (holiday and absence cover across all shifts as necessary)

Be self motivated
