Hygiene Team Member (Nights)
Greenvale AP is one of the UK's largest growers and packers of fresh potatoes, supplying some of the country's largest retailers and processors from our 2 production facilities. Our Duns site, based in the Scottish Borders is looking for a nightshift Hygiene Team Member. This role includes ensuring that all site cleaning schedules, customer standards and audit standards are adhered to.

- Reporting to: Production Manager
- Salary: £11.89 per hour
- Hours of work: Nights, Weekly, 18:00-04:30hrs (M/T/W) & 16:00-02:30hrs (T)
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensuring cleaning schedules are adhered to in a timely manner
- Providing cover when needed for other Hygiene Team Members
- Keeping the work area in a good, clean condition following the ‘clean as you go’ procedure
- Handling Production and Canteen recycling, including operating a bailer
- Maintaining accurate records
- Conducting general housekeeping or the factory, corridors, toilets and canteen
- Ensuring all chemical usage is used in accordance with Company procedures
- Using cleaning equipment as required for the task being undertaken e.g. broom/mops/cloths
- Communicating effectively with the Production Manager and other colleagues
Key Attributes:
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment
- Self-motivation

- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of customer requirements and specifications
- Prioritisation and good time management to ensure tasks are completed effectively and on time
- Understanding of COSHH requirements
