Supply Chain Planner (12 month FTC)
Greenvale AP is one of the UK’s largest growers and packers of fresh potatoes, supplying some of the country’s largest retailers and processors from our 2 production facilities. Our Floods Ferry site based in March, Cambridgeshire is looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join the Planning Department on a fixed term contract of 12 months. This role will be managing customer sales /forecast demand through to outload distribution to deliver OTIF while ensuring packing efficiencies. Key tasks will include daily production planning in line with customer demand. Booking and planning of outload distribution with the transport teams internal/external. Clear communication with the production/intake teams and key stakeholders within the Supply Chain. Maintain the forward planning demand using excel and ERP position.

- Hours of work: 4on 4off, 04:45-16:45
Main Responsibilities
- Plan the daily production lines to meet demand
- To ensure that daily line requirements against demand are communicated and adhered to
- Monitor capacity and escalate any issues where appropriate
- Ensuring that all sales and production information is recorded accurately, and admin tasks are completed in full
- Process customer orders and communicate requirements to all relevant parties
- Daily data management within ERP system and planning processes
Key Skills
- The ideal candidate will have experience working within a similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of capacity and demand modelling, combined with experience of ERP systems
- An understanding of OEE and throughput is advantageous
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and organisation skills with a keen eye for detail
