Packaging and Equipment Planner
Greenvale AP is one of the UK’s largest growers and packers of fresh potatoes, supplying some of the country’s largest retailers and processors from our 2 production facilities. Our Floods Ferry site based in March, Cambridgeshire is looking for a Packaging and Equipment Planner for its Planning Department. This role includes providing accurate data, raising and receipting purchase orders, communicating and building relationships with suppliers and ensuring sufficient stock of equipment and packaging for production.

- Reporting to: Packaging and Equipment Manager
- Salary: £14.68 per hour
- Hours of work: 4 on 4 off, 06:00-18:00hrs
Main Responsibilities:
- Daily control and administration of packaging and equipment
- Ensuring all paperwork is received and logged on internal systems
- Provide weekly order schedule to packaging suppliers in line with weekly supplier stock levels
- Provide data management support for production based on target reporting
- Providing the Packaging and Equipment Manager with weekly equipment KPI reports and stock for the following week
- Covering the Production Planners as and when required
Key Attributes:
- The ideal candidate will have experience working within a similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of capacity and demand modelling, combined with experience of ERP systems
- An understanding of OEE and throughput is advantageous
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and organisation skills with a keen eye for detail
