Machine Operator (Nights)
Greenvale AP is one of the UK’s largest growers and packers of fresh potatoes, supplying some of the country’s largest retailers and processors from our 2 production facilities. Our Duns site based in Duns, Berwickshire is looking for a Machine Operator within its Production Department. This role includes safely running the weighing and bagging machines on the packing line, ensuring customer orders are met to specification and communicating with all departments.

- Reporting to: Production Lead
- Salary: £13.07 per hour
- Hours of work: Monday-Wednesday 18:00-04:30hrs & Thursday 16:00-02:30hrs, Weekly, Nights
The main responsibilities for this position include:
- Ensuring completion of all orders within customer specifications
- Completing relevant Nav 13 checks and processes
- Ensuring quality checks are completed in line with Company procedures
- Ensuring effective communication at all times
- Interacting proactively with Engineers on machine related issues and opportunities
- Proficiently operating machines within your area of responsibility
- Complying with shadow board procedures
- Ensuring the packing line runs promptly to minimise downtime
