The main responsibilities for this position include:

Reporting to the Farm Crops Manager, the role includes primary responsibility for driving and operating the company sprayer fleet, which comprises Bateman self-propelled sprayers, a tractor mounted sprayer as well as a JCB Fastrac Demount airbag sprayer.

Main spraying duties are carried out during the months October to May. Out with these months, you will join the team of lead tractor drivers during daffodil bulb harvest and replanting. You will also participate in the maintenance, service and care of farm equipment. 

Key Attributes:

Proven relevant experience in agriculture/horticulture; PA1 and PA2 qualified, extensive sprayer operating experience; proficient in operating modern farm machinery; able to work long and flexible hours; excellent communication skills; ambition to learn, develop and progress within a busy and highly seasonal operation and a full UK driving licence. In return, you will benefit from an industry leading remuneration package and development opportunities.
