Senior Team Leader (Wash Area)
Greenvale AP is one of the UK’s largest growers and packers of fresh potatoes, supplying some of the country’s largest retailers and processors from our 2 production facilities. Our Floods Ferry site based in March Cambridgeshire, is looking for a Senior Team Leader for its Wash Area Department. This role includes ensuring safe and efficient running of the area, communicating with colleagues and other departments and ensuring the supply of raw materials to the packing lines.

- Salary: £13.97 per hour
- Hours of work: 4 on 4 off, 06:00-18:00hrs
Main Responsibilities:
- Following the production schedule and liaising with the Planning and Production departments to ensure the plan is met
- Ensuring effective communication at all times
- Ensuring the scanning process is followed with all boxes scanned correctly
- Complying with all Organic requirements and procedures
- Supporting FLT drivers with filling lines when necessary
- Escalating any issues to the Engineering department when necessary
- Reporting any quality concerns to the QA Team
- Managing and ensuring the cleaning schedules are followed
- Regularly checking the waste product and label as per procedure
- Ensuring the safe operation of machinery
