Hygiene Team Member
Greenvale AP is one of the UK’s largest growers and packers of fresh potatoes, supplying some of the country’s largest retailers and processors from our 2 production facilities. Our Duns site, based in the Scottish Borders is looking for a Hygiene Team Member for its Washlines. This role includes ensuring that all site cleaning schedules, customer standards and audit standards are adhered to, including deep cleaning of machinery.
- Location: Duns
- Reporting to: Production Manager
- Salary: £11.12 per hour
- Hours of work: Monday-Friday, 07:00-16:00hrs
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensuring cleaning schedules are adhered to in a timely manner
- Providing cover in the absence of other member of the Hygiene Team
- Using cleaning equipment e.g. mops/broom/buckets/cloths/chemicals
- Operating the Sweeper Machine
- Ensuring adherence to Company procedures, policies and guidelines
- Effectively communicating with all colleagues and management
- Maintaining accurate and up to date records
Key Attributes:

- Clear understanding of Health and Safety

- Able to deliver tasks efficiently and on time
- Understanding of BRC and HACCP requirements
- Understanding of Health and Safety, Risk Assessments and Standard Operating Procedures
