Quality Controller Team Leader
Greenvale AP is one of the UK’s largest growers and packers of fresh potatoes, supplying some of the country’s largest retailers and processors from our 2 production facilities. Our Floods Ferry site based in March, Cambridgeshire is looking for a Quality Controller Team Leader to join the Production Team. This role includes supporting the Quality and Production leadership team in all aspects of Technical Assurance to ensure our customers are always provided with product that meets specifications.

- Salary: £14.12
- Hours of work: 4 on 4 off Days, 06:00-18:00hrs, 2x 15 minutes paid breaks & 1x 30 minutes unpaid break
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the factory facilities are up to standards and always audit ready
- Ensuring the efficient and effective running of the Quality Team
- Support optical grader operations and providing training where necessary
- Recording internal rejections and reporting any findings
- Communicating any quality issues and ensuring appropriate action taken
- Completing daily shelf-life monitoring process
- Supporting the Technical and Commercial functions by providing samples, photos and reports
- Calibrating temperature probes as per schedule
- Verifying waste boxes to ensure graders are running appropriately
Key Attributes:
- Knowledge of customer requirements and quality specifications
- Excellent planning, communication and organisational skills
- Leadership and people management skills
- Computer skills e.g. Microsoft office
- Understanding of BRC and HACCP requirements
- Understanding of H&S requirements
- Food Hygiene certificate
